The Soldier of Darkness Bomber (暗黒戦士ボンバー) is the second mascot of the Battle Spirits trading card game.
He is one of the main characters on the Battle Spirits Cartoon Network series. He was introduced as an enemy to Galaxy Watanabe, but they often combine in tag battles. Similar to the other mascots, he hosts a column on the Japanese website. His is in the form of a comic, however. Bomber is known for his signature lethal fart, which can knock anyone unconscious.
Cartoon Network Series[]
Bomber was formally introduced in the third season, Galaxy Watanabe's Let's Play Battle Spirits DX. He served as a replacement for Galaxy Watanabe's former partner-turned-enemy Ko-Galaxy, although they're likely the same person.
The show, which contains episodes roughly five minutes in length, involves either Justice or Galaxy battling against a guest child, using a strategy of the week, and winning. Afterwards, they discuss the strategy.
Battle Spirits Heroes[]
Bomber appears in Heroes as a servant to Dr. Sunset, an evil scientist planning for world domanation. He
is attracted to Kimari Tatsumi and is more loyal to her than his original master, dr. Sunset. Unlike in the Cartoon Network Series, where he's portrayed like a human, Bomber is an ape-like character, and can't speak outside of grunts. He is also shaped more like a bomb. He is voiced by Kenichirou Matsuda.
Battle Spirits Sword Eyes[]
In Sword Eyes, Bomber is one of the three messengers of God, along with Galaxy Watanabe and Justice Tachibana. He mostly resembles his Heroes self, but his design is slightly modified. He is voiced by Rikiya Koyama.
Battle Spirits Saikyo Ginga Ultimate Zero[]
In this series, Bomber was considered a god on the planet Greensmoothie, though he since lost the reputation. He has a bird named Banaana who acts as a translator for him. He is voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama.
